The Dalmore has released Dalmore Distillery Exclusive 2017 Vintage 2000, it was distilled in 2000 then matured in American White Oak ex-bourbon barrels, it was then finished in hand selected Californian Merlot Barriques for five years before bottling at 52% ABV.

William, I've always been partial to Dalmore and this offering with the red wine finish and 52% ABV sounds very interesting.

I was passing last Friday and managed to get a bottle + a wee sample, loved it, very sweet and packs a punch.
