In the past Glenmorangie Lasanta had a bit of a sulphury taint which wasn't great but they seem to have sorted that out now and it just so happens it is the lower 43% ABV which is a very much improved version.

Short answer is the current 43% expression is by far the best.

Go for the what I consider the new improved Lasanta which is now 43%, as Mark mentions the old 46% Lasanta had an off sulphur note

I'm sitting here drinking both Scotches side by side. I honestly can't tell much difference.

The Glenmorangie Lasanta did have a period a few years ago when it had a bit of a sulphur taint but that was rectified, it was probably batch related but whisky drinkers noticed it at the time. Anything I have had in recent times has been very good.
