Hello, this is my first post. I was hoping to get some recommendations for scotch for my wedding. We have a "bring your own bar" and I'm looking to get about 4 bottles. There is a local liquor store with some specials, so I've narrowed it down to some options currently in the price range with good reviews online.

I was initially going to get 4 of the same whisky, but since we get to keep the leftovers I think I'd like to get a few with different taste profiles/from different regions (and preferably some interesting/unique bottles).

Here are the current options

Aberlour 12
Balvenie 12
Call Ila 12
Clynelish 14
Dalmore 12
Highland Park 12
Macallan 12
Oban 14
Springbank 10
Talisker 10

So those are the options. If anyone has any suggestions for a group of 4 that would complement each other I would appreciate it, or just if you see a favorite or 2 on the list that would be great too. And there's plenty of WL Weller to last, so I'm trying to limit the options to 4.

Congratulations in advance lionsandcavs..

If this list was my personal choice i would get the caol ila, clynelish, springbank and the talisker.

If however your guests are the priority I might swap the caol ila, springer for a slightly easier malt such as the aberlour, macallan or the hp.

Could go for the regional approach but if i wanted the leftovers it would def be the above.

I am sure whatever you choose from this list will go down well as they are all good drinkers. Hope you have fun..

Ps welcome to the forum.
: Very Happy

I would suggest these as the line up, all highly rated single malts and I am sure anyone who enjoys whisky will enjoy them: Balvenie 12, Highland Park 12, Macallan 12, Talisker 10

Already loving your weddings.... For the sake of variation:

Clynelish 14
Springbank 10
Macallan 12
Caol Ila 12

Hard to leave Talisker out.
