The Bowmore 15 could be interesting.

Also interesting that the travel retail Bowmore 18 is different from the standard 18, hopefully they have used good sherry casks to create it.

I'm currently really enjoying a bottle of Gold Reef (much nicer than Black Rock) so this is good news - I'm flying a few times in the coming months so I'll have a looksie and see if I can get a taste.

It's great to hear that they are returning to age statements. Indeed - Black Rock is not nice! It was the last bottle of Bowmore I bought and I have not gone back since..

I agree, it was the first whisky I tried that I thought actually tasted.... strange? The reason I bought the Gold Reef was because it has had much better reviews online and I had the chance to get for £30 for a litre bottle so I thought it was worth a punt. Turned out that it's a totally different animal to Blackrock - there's a sherry finish to it I think and whith just hints of peat smoke it's very enjoyable.

Interesting, I shall have to try it sometime. Normally I don't get on too well with Bowmore. Although the two I have tried were NAS. Had the 18 yr at a Weatherspoon's (for a surprisingly good price) a long time ago but can't recall if I liked it or not.
