Hi All
I am a relative newbie to collecting single malts.
I have come across this and just wondered if there are any thoughts on it and Adelphie.

Adelphi is an independent bottler who does turn out some excellent whiskies, but as with any single cask whisky it can be hit or miss but in general my experience of Adelphi has been very good.
What is your reason for collecting, to drink at a later date or as an investment? I haven't tasted this Ardmore bottling but I would say that it isn't exactly a sought after whisky brand at auction and is unlikely to soar in price unless it picks up some reviews saying it is a brilliant whisky. For collecting as an investment or just to play safe and not to loose money it is best to stick to more well known iconic whisky brands. |

| I agree with Bookies advice, Adelphi do bottle some quality whiskies but I wouldn't consider Ardmore as a collectable brand. |

Thanks guys I appreciate it.
I am starting to collect as an alternative investment to property and stocks.
I don't mind a wee dram every now and then, but more for investment. |
