Hi all!

I've been waiting to get my hands on the Macallan 18 yo for a few years and when I was about to get myself one of these the price tag had raised alot. Too much for my taste. I love the regular 12 yo old aswell as Glenlivet 18 among a few others, not "smokey" ones.

So I was hoping to get some advice of some good scotch. I like the sherry ones the most...

Have a look at Glendronach 18 and 21 also have a look at Glenfarclas 15, 17 and 25 all much cheaper than a Macallan 18 and all good sherried single malts.

Aberlour 16 and 18 are good. The Glengoyne range is sherry influenced the Glengoyne 21 is excellent.

I second the Glengoyne suggestion.

Aberlour A'Bunadh is a sherry monster! I'd also agree with Glendronach 18 and 21. I love the GD.
