| I need an experienced Laphroaig 18 drinker to recommend a whisky that is as similar as possible in taste and cost to this vanished product. All suggestions gratefully received. We bought up all we could find, but no good thing lasts forever. |

It is a shame that the Laphroaig 18 has been discontinued, a favourite of mine also but sadly I haven't found a similar replacement. I only hope we will see the 18 return in years to come when they have perhaps built up some more mature stock. Meanwhile I still have 6 bottles in the cupboard.
