I recently visited Covent Garden Market in London, Ontario and picked up an Irish whiskey infused cheese. I thought it would be interesting and fun to do my taste notes on the above.
Color: Yellowish ivory
Nose: A spice melange wraps around the white cheddar hues with a subdued whiskey profile peeking out behind the cheese influence.
Taste: Medium-bodied, the cheddar melds with barley cereal and mint julep.
Finish: Lingering, the cheddar sharpness escalates and the whisky accent adopts an earthy pleasant tone.
Comments: A delightful Irish whiskey infused cheese with a subtle tap on the shoulder to get your attention.
Score: 85 _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."
