Fumore latin for "smoky". 18,000 bottles.
Color: Dark Gold
Nose: Understated smoke and peat awaken with underlying sweetness, more than subliminal lilacs and late apple jelly.
Taste: Medium to full-bodied. The peat is caressed by floral sweetness, a smoky halo amd rhubarb jam.
Finish: Lingering, sweet smokehouse hues and apricot accents. Fruit compote weighs in on the caboose.
Comments: A rather light peated dram with sweet protuberances which satisfy.
Score: 84 _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

| I haven't tried the Fumore but I have had the Spey Tenne which is a decent port cask finished whisky. |
