A collection of 290 bottles of the highly sought after Karuizawa Japanese whisky is set to be sold at auction, the collection which had been built up over the last 10 years by a European collector, has an estimated value of more than £500,000.

UPDATE:

The collection of Karuizawa Japanese whisky has been sold for a total of £770,000 which is believed to be a record for an auction of Japanese whisky.
