228 bottles, 2005 KWM, Refill bourbon Cask 302022
Color: Light gold-hay
Nose: Medicinal blast, seaweed coated with sea salt, barnicles galore, woody remnants of an old galleon ship and Australian black licorice.
Taste: The peat unfurls with intensity, "sticky lice" blasts forth with citrus hues.
Finish: Long, the citronella foundation gives way to bulrushes and oak tannin.
***A few drops of water affects the palate by pulling in peppery notes with a complimentary cinnamon emphasis.
Comments: A solid offering from G & M at cask strength.
Score: 88 _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

Kensington Wine Market, a well known independent outlet for wine and whisky in Alberta which also selects particular casks for bottling. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

| I would never have guessed that one, I was thinking KWM may relate to the type of cask. |
