|
|
"International Whisk(e)y Day was first announced in 2008 and falls on March 27th each year. The name is used with the parenthesis to indicate support of Scottish, Canadian, and Japanese whiskies (no e) as well as Irish and American whiskeys (full of e). The day publicly supports Parkinsons Disease research in addition to enjoying Whiskey."
More about the day at http://www.internationalwhiskyday.org/
What dram are you going to have that day to celebrate?
I'm considering having several drams on the 27th to show the international flavor:
Powers Gold Label Irish Whiskey
Crown Royal Northern Harvest Rye
Bowmore Devil's Casks III Double the Devil

| I'll be spending the evening at my parents', so will be having whatever they have. If they still have the same bottles, it'll be either Bunnahabhain 12 or Springbank 10. |

| I don't think International Whisky Day ever really caught on, I didn't even know that it would be this Sunday. As it is Easter Sunday I will certainly be having a few drams in the evening. |

| Midleton housewarming - for handover from barry crockett. Excellent dram, tropical fruits off the bat! Like it. Bottle kill too - bit of a shame! |
