| If this sounds a weird topic then I say sorry now, was chatting to a pal down south earlier, and he wondered how much supermarkets pay for the whisky? I have no idea, so let's say if they bought one bottle how much would the supermarket pay? Unless some have more info... My pal said ask this hehehe. Thanks i said.. |

| As bulk buyers they pay a lot less. I know having worked in a similar arena - however, they (supermarkets) will aim to achieve 100% profit: |

| They pay a hell of a lot less that you or I.. some will be sold as a loss leader on occasion but generally no one will match them for buying power.. always amazes me though how the distilleries can't match the prices.. no middle man there |
