Kilchoman have had a private cask bottling stolen and are appealing for information in case anyone is offered any of the stolen bottles for sale. I saw it on their Facebook, but don't know any details. How might this kind of thing happen?
They say...
| Quote: | We would like to alert Kilchoman fans of a stolen Private Single Cask Bottling, Cask 142/2006. Please be aware that if you are offered any of these bottles they are stolen goods and we would appreciate it if you could contact the distillery on (+44) 1496 850011 or email anthony.wills@kilchomandistillery.com. Cask details and labels originally affixed to the standard Kilchoman bottles and red single cask cartons are below. We would greatly appreciate any information relating to this bottling.
Cask details: Cask Number: 142/2006. Cask Type: Bourbon. Distillation Date: 12.7.2006. Bottle Date: 24.7.2016. 700ml. Strength: 52.1% alc./vol. Bottle Number: X of 257 |

| I am intrigued to know how it happened, was it stolen from the distillery and was it all 257 bottles? I doubt they will see it again though. |
