Hi,
Looking for a guide on what the earlier Douglas Laing bottlings of PE and Ardbeg might be worth now.
Port Ellen aside from maybe the Plowed bottling (which I have) has no key dates/bottles that I know of. Is the Plowed bottling of any note vs. the others? Independent bottlings seem to be the only affordable way left to drink port ellen given how the 'annual release' series is pricing retail now. Aside from Plowed, I still have some number of different DL/OMC and DL/Provenance bottlings of Port Ellen from 2000-2003. (I drank quite a few )
Ardbeg, mostly 1974/1975, incl.
the 'jim murray #1' 702 bottling OCT75/OCT00 25yo At one point this bottling commanded a notable premium over other 74/75s.
363 btl OCT75/MAY01 25yo
198 bottle MAR75/OCT02 27yo
264b aug74/feb03 28yo
any insight into rough valuation here appreciated. bottles are located in the US. |

| Have you had a look on whiskybase? Or scotchwhiskyauctions? The former gives some info on bottlings, the latter is useful.for market value. |
