I'm thinking about visiting here:
https://www.spiritofspeyside.com/
Is it a good time to pay the first visit in Scotland? Any hints for a foreigner?

Shortly.. I don't wanna rent a car so my plan is to use public transportation and walk. I love trekking so >20km per day by foot isnt a problem. One or two distilleries per day sounds ok.

I probably need one base B&B where I keep my stuff. (distillery bottlings Rolling Eyes ect)
It should locate geographically in good position - maybe close to Craigellachie or Ballindalloch?
So many options..

The Speyside festival is a great time to visit but bare in mind accommodation can be hard to find during the festival unless you book way in advance. There is usually good public transport and taxis to get around Speyside during the festival which you will need if you are drinking. It is also advisable to book events in advance to save disappointment.

Bit of a mad frenzy when the tickets went on sale yesterday, with 6 tickets to source for each event it can be hard, only one event we planned for was fully booked.

Anyone else get booked up....?

Going to Glenfarclas Managers tour, Macallan Fine & Rare tasting, Whisky fair, Dogfest but really looking forward to the tasting awards this year at Rothes, Forsyths Coppersmiths, not bad for £15.

I wish I was going, I haven't been up to Speyside for quite some time. The tasting awards does sound amazing for £15
