| Do me a favour, can you give me a few whiskies that are similer to the livit 12 as my friend is bugging me to find one, so I thought I'd ask the experts hehehe.. Thanks. RL. |

Glen Grant should be quite similar. I liked their 10yo, which as now been replaced by a 12yo - I've not tried this but I expect the taste profile would be a good match for a Glenivet 12.
Glen Moray 12 is ok too, it's not as good (in my opinion) as Glen Grant but it does have some light honey'd orchard fruits and a slight nutty mid-palate and finish which is similar to Glenlivet. _________________ "Too much of anything is bad, but too much good whisky is barely enough." |

the glenlossie 10 year old and the aultmore 12 seem to fit the bill
theres still some 12 year glenlivet around but hit and miss some good some not so good
