Lidl Christmas whiskies are out.

Ben Bracken 22yo Islay Single Malt - £49.99?
Ben Bracken 27yo Speyside Single Malt - £49.99
Glen Alba 22yo Sherry-Finished Blend - £29.99
Glen Alba 25yo Sherry-Finished Blend - £34.99
Glen Alba 34yo Sherry-Finished Blend - £?????

All are at 40% ABV.

Almost certainly, all are produced/sourced for Lidl by Whyte & Mackay. The postcode on the bottle labels is certainly W&M's postcode.

They will all have a lovely dark W&M tan then.

I would be interested in the Ben Bracken 22yo Islay Single Malt

The 27yo Speyside has a lovely colour actually, 100% bourbon matured and doesn't look like it's had much (if any) tinkering with.

Ben Bracken 22yo Islay Single Malt - £44.99
Glen Alba 34yo Sherry-Finished Blend - £49.99

I believe there is also going to be a 25yo Speyside in the lineup too

Both the 27yo and the 22yo malts are very good. Almost 100% that the 22yo Islay is a sherried Bowmore.

I'm with Opel on this. The Islay is a bowmore that has had its peat dialled down and a range of flavours I've never experienced from an islay.
