| I travel to Angola every other month for work and was in one of the shopping centres last time. They had a shop selling lots of high end liquor. They had a bottle of Glenrothes 1969 bottled in 2013 (in a brown leather case. It was retailing for 2,272,000 kwanza which exchanges to around US $12,622 using the official bank rate. Think it was about £4000 GBP. Impressive mark up. All the whisky was very expensive. If i could have got $5000 into the country then I could buy it with unofffical exchange rate however even at that its prob still strong priced. |
