As you know William, I met Georgie when she did a major tasting for Mortlach in Ontario, Canada in the past in a different role and she is a fund of whisky knowledge and has a wonderful personality. Good luck to her. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

Given Georgies role with Diageo I would guess Bacardi will be looking to her to highlight their older stuff from their 5 distilleries.
I haven't had anything from The Deveron yet since they rebranded it from Glen Deveron. The Royal Brackla is good and the Aultmore 12 and 21 are good.
The Craigellachie 17 is good, I would love to try the Craigellachie 23 but it is a crazy price as is most of Bacardis older malts but as I said I would guess that is what the Georgie has been hired to promote. Got to be an easier sell than the half bottles of very expensive Mortlach she was previously selling. |
