1987 Highland Park: Gordon & MacPhail's Collection.
Bottled in 2012, so an impressive 25 years old. Deep yellow, the nose has a soft coastal smokiness that I tend to associate with HP. The mouthfeel is fresh and strongly saline, and coats my tastebuds. Both impressive and enjoyable. The alcohol level is 43% and I would usually prefer a cask strength bottling. However, this works really well.
