This is an interesting twist on Canadian single malt, finished in ice wine barrel.
The first Icewine-finished single malt whisky in the world, this is soft, smooth and creamy, with touches of spice according to the Vintages/LCBO info.
Only one bottle, still available in all of Ontario presently- LCBO in Owen Sound, up North, about 260 km from here.
By the way, Canadian, esp. Niagara ice wine is sought after all over the world. I live near several ice wine distilleries myself.

| Wasn't it Glen Breton who had a trade mark dispute with the Scotch whisky association a few years back, i still haven't seen any of their whisky here. |

Yes Calder. It was over the use of the "Glen" prefix. Obviously, the distillery won the legal case which started back in 2008. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

| I've had ice wine from Quebec before but it was a bit too sweet for me - but then again I'm not really a wine person. |
