This is an interesting twist on Canadian single malt, finished in ice wine barrel.

The first Icewine-finished single malt whisky in the world, this is soft, smooth and creamy, with touches of spice according to the Vintages/LCBO info.

Only one bottle, still available in all of Ontario presently- LCBO in Owen Sound, up North, about 260 km from here.

By the way, Canadian, esp. Niagara ice wine is sought after all over the world. I live near several ice wine distilleries myself.
Very Happy

Wasn't it Glen Breton who had a trade mark dispute with the Scotch whisky association a few years back, i still haven't seen any of their whisky here.

Yes Calder. It was over the use of the "Glen" prefix. Obviously, the distillery won the legal case which started back in 2008.

I've had ice wine from Quebec before but it was a bit too sweet for me - but then again I'm not really a wine person.
