The milestone barrel - a bourbon industry first - was personally filled and sealed by seventh generation master distiller Fred Noe and Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin at the company’s flagship distillery in Clermont, Kentucky.

According to Chuck they have filled 500,000 barrels per year for the past 2 years. Beam must be expecting something big or new in the future. They will also have lots of used barrels for sale in a few years. |

| The way the Scotch whisky distilleries have ramped up production in the past few years they will be needing those extra barrels. |
