I have just found an unopened 750ml bottle of Glenlivet 12 year single malt whiskey in my dad's garage. I would ask my dad about it but he is 88years old and has alzheimers, so won't remember much about it. It is in a presentation tin Classic Golf Courses, with a picture of Muirfield on the front. It seems to be quite a few years old as the tin shows signs of age.
I am unsure what to do with it apart from drink it and I'm not a huge drinker and I'm sure I wouldn't appreciate the quality of it. I am thinking of keeping it as a memento of my dad, he did like a whiskey now and again, or maybe save it for a toast at his funeral. But I would like to know more about it age etc. |

| Post a picture if possible. Sounds like you'd like to know if it's worth anything. |

| Sorry to hear of your dads condition. Your dad obviously thought of it as something special to keep it all of these years. It is a very easy drinking pleasant fruity (green apple notes) whisky, I hope you enjoy it if you do decide to open it now or in the future. |
