Here's some whiskies which finally made it to LCBO store shelves in Ontario with some stock. Any comments on these? Has anyone tried any of them?
Glengoyne 21 Year Old
Glengoyne 18 Year Old
Tamdhu 10 Year Old
Cask Islay single malt
..and some Irish drams-:
Midleton Very Rare Irish Whiskey
The Irishman Founders Reserve
Powers Gold Irish Whiskey _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

| Murray I can highly recommend the Glengoyne 21, the Midleton Very Rare is hit or miss from year to year, most have been very good in my experience but I would say find out which year they have available and check out some reviews if you are considering the Midleton. I wanted to like the Tamdhu 10 but some poor sherry casks spoiled the bottle I had and I would need to hear it has seriously improved before giving it another try. |

| I've just got the Powers amongst a few other Irish numbers in preparation for St Patrick's. I'll let you know how I get on but if it's anything like the 12 year old it'll be a good one. The Tamdhu I had last year and wasn't a memorable experience. No bad but it's not standing out. |
