Ive just ordered 2 hand filled bottles from the distillery, yet i cant see how old they are. (I know but i needed them fast)
Ive looked around and seen some 15yo bottles on auction sites.
Anyone know the age of the ones you get now? (Hoping its not a nas).
And anyone else had one and tried it?

is this the one you ordered ? https://shop.glenfiddich.com/special-editions/glenfiddich-the-distillery-malt

If you look at the wooden box it does say '15 Years' so it does look to have an age statement. I've been looking at this for a while, and have emailed the distillery before but with no help.

It will be at least 15 year old, but will only say 15 year old on the box, there is no distillation date as it is from a solera vat but all whiskies which have gone into the vat are at least 15 years old.

That is the bottle on the link.

Im glad its from the solera vat, the 15 is the nicest of the range for me although i havènt tried a 21. Ive tried all tge distillery, rich oak etc but that 15 is still my goto whisky.

Its been bought as a gift and ive just found 2 alternatives....1 was a 15yo with personalised label....would have done. The other a choice of whisky and personalised box and copper plate. Whish id noticed the forty quid one as its not for me Laughing

Thanks for the info

They sell it via the web site shop now.
I loved that video above, must be great to make your "own" bottle.
But hey....for that price im not doing the job for them!

The distillery looks a great place to visit from that clip.

Anyone been?
