No where near as good as the 17 and 21, but still a decent whisky and worth it for £35......although I think they only do it in 500ml bottles now.

......yes, I'd have a trolly full Smile

Currently, there is only one Japanese whisky for sale in all of Ontario, Canada for a population of 13.6 million people at the only outlets that sell liquor in the Province, namely the LCBO. 1196 bottles available between 12 stores of the 651 outlets across the Province.

Nikka Taketsuru Pure Malt Japanese Whisky

They used to carry a lot more, particularly aged Japanese whiskies but those days are over here and in many other places as we know.

How much is the LCBO charging for the pure malt?

My first bottle was $60 CAD (< 1 year ago)
My second bottle was $68 CAD (Last Oct)
My third bottle was $71 CAD. (Jan 2016)

I see them retailing now for $77 CAD... talk about a steady rise!

I'm surprised you guys don't get the Nikka from the Barrel and the Pure Malt / Coffey Malt. they are quite readily available here in Alberta still....

Maybe I should snatch up the 3L size Nikka from the Barrel while they still have one around.
