Tasted the Gordon & MacPhail Speymalt Macallan 2006 which was bottled in 2015 and added a review here:

| This is one I have had, in fact still have about half a bottle left, pretty much agree with your review William, an ok indie bottling of the Macallan for your money. I have never had a bad G & M Speymalt Macallan but there has been a few seriously good ones. |

I have had many of the Speymalt Macallan bottlings over the years and no complaints from me, good value for money.
William the younger ones such as this 2006 tend to be a bit lighter on the sherry these days similar to the young entry level distillery bottlings now. |

My last Speymalt was from 1994. Nothing special - good malt (maybe a bit over-vatted) but fairly priced.
Thinking of buying 1995 vintage: |
