I would hazard a guess that based on the label and the 86.8 proof, it probably dates back to 1960-1970's though the label is in awfully good condition so it may be younger, Value could be ascertained by contacting Johnnie Walker directly or an auction house.
An example of a vintage desirable Johnnie walker red would be:

Note the different proof on the label, 70 proof _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

Thank you for the information. I was able to better refine my search and seem to have found a match.

They claim it's 1968. No word on estimated price though. Seems likely to be around $50-75 I would assume.
Sound about right? |

| I've seen the 60's USA bottlings go at auction for £100-150 in the UK. If it was slightly older with the spring cap you could do £300+ |

Interesting. So at this point, what would be my best course of action for this bottle?
Save it, sell it, or sip it? |

I would likely drink it.

Very smooth, strong yet mellow, sweet finish. Good stuff.
Too bad I couldn't share it with any of you.
Any offers on the empty bottle? |
