Which one to buy? I've got my whisky for Xmas a glenlivit12 a famous grouse smoky black, a isle of Skye 8 and I'm going for one more, so I've seen in tesco a fettercairn fasque for £25 so should I got for that or the talisker storm at 30???? You decide lads because I can't decide. Many thanks...

I'd go dalwhinnie 15 over the winter gold, but other than that I don't know, I would prob treat myself to a Glenfiddich distillers at £50 ish and with your £10 even better, or nearer your bracket the fiddich 15, maybe even look at aberfeldy 12 or aberlour 12.... Just saying 🙄

If you can get a fasque, especially for 25 quid I'd go with that (not that it's particularly brilliant) - but I think it's hard to get. Iirc I saw one to for 60 quid in a recent auction. The storm is readily available everywhere.

Talisker Storm is now on offer for £25 in Tesco and it is a good whisky IMO.

Depends where your voucher is for.
If your going Talisker then the 10 is £35 so only £25 with your money off, which is a no brainer.
I wouldn't buy the Storm if it was the only whisky in the shop, but that's just my view. The Fettercairn is pretty useless too, if I'm honest. Just my view. _________________ "Too much of anything is bad, but too much good whisky is barely enough." |

I'm with OpelFruit on this one ... the Talisker 10 has that 'classic' quality and in comparison the 'Storm' and 'Skye' versions just don't quite hit the mark, (for me anyway). Of the others you mention, I've yet to try a Dalwhinnie where one was enough !! _________________ Slainte

It's ok - I'd go for one of the other recommendations though...
