Whisky Forum - Suntory Pure Malt Whisky

Hello all,
Just took the advise of a number of members on this forum, and opened my bottle of Suntory 12 year pure malt whisky. Wow!! Don't know what I was waiting for all these years. This was a little bit of heaven..... It was an absolutely wonderful experience. As mentioned, this bottle was given to me by clients from Japan over 20 years ago. I put it away and never gave it any thought until the other day. I understand this wonderful 12 year old product is very difficult to get these days, now I'm spoiled. Hope I'll be able to go back to my usual brand once this is gone. Oh well, I would like to say thank you to those who responded to my first thread on this forum, and wish everyone a wonderful and safe holiday season.

Pleased to hear you liked it Mike, you wont be able to hold of this one easily now but you will find some others with the same flavour profile. Just ask for recommendations on here, I am sure you will get a few good suggestions.

I'll have to check on the alternate brands. But as of now, I'm enjoying my Suntory.

I'm very into my Japanese whisky.....well, I have been over the years before the prices went bonkers.....having had most of the commercially available ones in the UK. I'm very, very jealous! You've got something that most of us will never get the chance to try.

Mike.. I'm so glad you opened it, even better you thought it was great and by the sound of it no regrets.. As mentioned your very lucky in that most of us will not get the chance to try such a malt.. Sit back, pour another, sip slowly and chuckle to yourself.. And just think " I am tasting liquid history".
