Being a long time fan of the outstanding Ballantine's 21 year old I was pleased when Ballantine's contacted me to announce the release of Ballantine's 21 Year Old Signature Oak Edition - European Oak, which is the first of two new limited editions exclusive to Global Travel Retail. The release of an additional Signature Edition created with American oak will follow to complete the pair of bottlings.

The Ballantine's 21 Year Old Signature Oak Edition - European Oak is bottled at 40% ABV and has an RRP of £145/$225 USD.

Sorren if you haven't tried it yet the standard Ballantine's 21 is also excellent, so is the 17 and 30 year old, still hoping someone will buy me the Ballantine's 40 year old.

I wouldn't mind trying the 21 Year Old Signature Oak Edition myself, I will have to ask a couple of friends who travel a lot to look out for it.
