I've just bought a bottle of this and thought that I'd share the details in case anyone else fancies getting one.
Back in 2007, Constantine Stores in Cornwall (aka Drinkfinder) celebrated their 50th anniversary.
They commissioned Gordon & Macphail (without doubt the most famous independent bottlers in the world) to produce a special bottling.
G&M duly provided an undisclosed "Speyside 50 year old" Single Malt.
Production was limited to just 50 bottles. each of which was individually numbered.
The front label depicts the shop's Cornish heritage with the flag of St Pirans and the back label the Cornish Chough. |

Not reached me yet.
I am guessing that it is a Glen Grant, although someone said maybe a Macallan |

| Since I posted about this on several forums last night, Drinkfinder has sold all bar three bottles. The company has also increased the price to £399. Still very, very good value in my humble opinion, but not the bargain that it was yesterday. |

| You misunderstand me. My order was placed on Tuesday and I was charged and invoiced for £275 a bottle. No problem. The price rose either yesterday or today. |

I didn't misunderstand you were very clear in what happened I have no problem in anything you said good to let everyone know what seemed a good price for the age of the whisky
but I just don't like the way some shops operate especially this one it leaves a bad taste in my mouth of all the shops I have dealt with this is the only one I wouldn't personally recommend

| I bought one about 8am this morning and within an hour or 2 the price had gone up as a friend was looking. Thanks for the heads up I'll be keeping it for my 50th in a few years! |

Happy to help. Now only 1 bottle left!
I asked Drinkfinder what it was and one member of staff said he thought it might be Glen Grant.
G&M were very coy and wouldn't even give me a clue. |
