All three new core range bottlings are NAS now.

"Glenturret Distillery is celebrating its 240th anniversary with the launch of a no-age-statement range of Scotch whiskies, marking the brand's continued foray into the single malt sector."?

"Our new core range draws on the very best of our traditional, artisan production methods but focuses on profiling the taste of the malt, not simply its age,"? said Stuart Cassells, Glenturret Distillery manager. Rolling Eyes

They are probably defending market position of The Famous Grouse blend and not really focusing on Glenturret single malts.

I did wonder if Glenturret were heading that way after their trio of the Triple Wood, Sherry Cask and Peated Edition. I just didn't think that their 10yo was THAT popular for them to run out of the stuff. And they used to have an 8yo that was very good, so why not fall back on that? I'd buy a bottle if they reintroduced it.

Note to self - stock up on the Talisker 10 just in case the Skye is a prelude to the NAS changeover.

My father taught me that if you don't have anything positive to say, then don't say anything at all.

Probably I'm not the best son in the world, neither the smartest person around here but I would definitely stock up with Talisker 10 if this was still my favourite malt. Wink

I suspect that the Talisker 10 will continue but may disappear off the shelves of outlets such as big supermarkets where the bulk of sales happen. I have stocked up just in case.

As far as Glenturret goes, a new range of malts is always welcome and I assume the pricing of these NAS malts wont bust the bank, if they turn out to be good then I will buy. I will wait for some reviews I trust.
