I pour about a double into a Glencairn and usually have 2 of those in an evening. If it's a cask strength then I'll usually go with a little less, maybe 1.5 a glass.

I don't drink every night but I do tend to stick to a max of 4 x 25cl in a night, sometimes 4 different single malts, sometimes a couple of large pours of the same whisky, just depends on my mood.

I don't know how much I pour. I drink from a glencairn and I pour up to a bit below the widest part of the bulb. I keep meaning to buy a proper measure but I've yet to bother Smile

I'm a generous 50ml guy. 2 or 3 a night. But I do try to have 3 or 4 nights with none in the week.

Hi Charlie. I'm assuming you mean 4 X 25 ml in a night. Your actually mentioned 4 x 25 cl which would be 8.5 ounces a pour or almost 34 ounces over 4 pours. Tell me you just made a typo.

Generally only weekends, but then I often start with a massive double (lets call it a Double double), followed by a double then a single.

I'm not sure when I started doing such big measures but it was because I noticed my wife would get annoyed if I walked to the drinks cabnet too often Laughing Laughing

Weird thing with me if I pour a full glass or close to it I tend not to enjoy it as much, I'm happy with a double and love hearing that cork when I go for another hehehehe

My pour is as big as I intend it to be, it is not as big as it could be nor is it too small, it is just the right amount to be enough to get a good taste but not overly big as to be too much, but it depends what is too much, as too much for me might not be too much for you or Opel, now Opel might not drink a lot so it wouldn't be too much for him or it might be too much for me.. So I guess what I'm trying to say is my pour is about right for me but not for you.. So about half a pub measure up to a pub measure😂
