TN: Spirit of Freedom: 45+
A blend of 45+ different Scotch whiskies, the batch was bottled at a cask strength of 52% by J&A Mitchell in Campbeltown, Scotland. Released in 2015 and following on from the same blend released in 2014 at a more "normal' strength. Mid straw colour, the nose is clean and hints at citrus with a hint of spicy sandalwood. The mouthfeel is smooth, the edges are rounded and the length persistent and fresh. Very little alcoholic burn, even before adding a few drops of Highland Spring mineral water. With water, even smoother and slides down easily.

Apologies to Admin, but I should have posted this in the blended whisky forum. Can it be moved there? _________________ Life is for living. |
