The glenfiddich distillers addition?
Ive got one and a rich oak. Birthday coming up and i always have a bottle with my son.
Just not sure if its worth opening the distllers or hanging onto it and savouring it for myself.
Leaving out my questionable morals......whats it like?

15yo at 51%?

Yes. In my view the best whisky in their core range. Fantastic dram.

Unfortunately I have to agree with Opel again.. It's getting to be a habit ...
It's a very good whisky, just open it and enjoy. The rich oak is a nice dream too ( my opinion) both ar worth opening,

The Glenfiddich 15 Distillery Edition is excellent, I agree with the above opinions that it's the best among Glenfiddich's core range. I'm not a fan of the Rich Oak on the other hand, but I seem to be in the minority here.

Totally agree with posts above the Glenfiddich Distillery Edition is very good, however I do also like the Glenfiddich Rich Oak, they are 2 different whiskies the rich oak certainly lives up to its name with some fresh virgin oak notes through it which is perhaps more attractive to those who like American Bourbon. If it was a choice between the 2 for a special dram on a special occasion then without a doubt it has to be the Distillery Edition

Was it on a lightning deal? I remember the NAS Malt Masters Edition a few days ago, but not the 15 Distillery Edition.
