What do you think - are these worth the price?

Sold by Laphroaig by ballot.

J99 per .375

All in the tasting but I know many have opted out of the ballot as they consider £99 too much for a smaller bottle.

I've opted out. Not only is it stupidly priced but they want me to enter a balot to see if I can have the chance to buy one. They're taking the p1ss. Keep it.

They do look expensive when compared to some of Laphroaig's previous offerings, but when compared to the market right now, a 21yr old premium branded whisky at cask strength, for a £198 equiv a bottle is probably quite good value....can't believe how expensive aged whisky has become. If you're buying to keep should do OK value wise, if you are buying to drink, I hope that it's as good as the rest of their usually excellent offerings.

Unfortunately it's the way the industry is going, there seems to be more smaller bottles and higher prices, I'm sure the laphoraig fans will be happy, is it worth it ? Only if you think it is.. Rolling Eyes
