All the proceeds go to charities supporting work in Nepal in the aftermath of the earthquakes that hit the country earlier in the year.

The Â£6000 also includes a tasting of 5 Karuizawa whiskies and you will also receive a 70cl bottle of Karuizawa 1983 cask #3557 one of only 50 bottles.

I know it is for a good cause but Â£6000 wow

I got the email from TWE about this, I wonder if they will find 50 people willing to pay Â£6000 each, hope so, good luck to them.

If I had Â£6000 I'd go. Can probably sell the bottle you get afterwards for Â£4000!

To be honest seeing there will only be 50 bottles in total I think it may hit the Â£6000 depending on how many turn up at auction.

If you look at the Karuizawa Sakura 31Y.O only 45 bottles it has hit $14,000 (Â£10,000) on a regular basis on the German Whisky Auction. I know we don't get the outturn of every bottle but I have yet to see any other bottle less than 50 bottles except for the Sakura.

One thinlg is for sure it will be coming to an auction soon

Edit, one of the Ghost series that sold on SWA for Â£11,000 was 1 of 22 bottles
