Here is one for the peat heads amongst you, Bruichladdich have announced the launch of Octomore 7.1, the seventh edition in their heavily peated whisky series.
Octomore 7.1 uses only barley sourced from the Scottish mainland, peated to 208ppm. Matured in American oak and bottled at 59.5% ABV and as we have come to expect with Octomore it is bottled without colouring or chill filtration.
Now available from The Whisky Exchange

| I wish they would put them in a clear bottle so I know how much I have left. I will still be getting a bottle to tuck away to drink on a cold winters night. |
