American bourbons

I was in the local book store this morning which actually is attached to my coffee shop of choice. I was perusing the magazine section as I still had some money left on a gift card I was given for the shop. I picked up a Bourbon magazine. Actually, Opelfruit's talk about bourbon on the Forum has caused me to pick up a few bottles this year and when I saw the mag I couldn't resist.

There was an interesting article about the return of the I.W. Harper label by Diageo with a 15 year age statement (a limited edition release) and a permanent brand NAS, Kentucky bourbon straight whisky. The mag also provided full info re tours at the following distilleries, days and hours open:
