GlenDronach today launched GlenDronach The Hielan' 8 Year Old an innovative expression, specially selected by Master Blender Billy Walker to complement the distillery's burgeoning range of outstanding malts. The new GlenDronach Hielan' has been matured and married in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks. The whisky is non-chill filtered, natural colour and bottled at 46% ABV.
The new GlenDronach The Hielan' 8 Year Old will be available to purchase from specialist whisky shops including The Whisky Exchange

William, sounds like it will garner a lot of interest. More and more distilleries are actually putting actual age on younger whiskies and it seems to be working as a motivator to try them rather than leaving some as simply NAS . _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

Amongst the info they sent me about the new 8 year old Hielan' they list the 15 year old as part of there current range. _________________ There's no bad whisky. Just good whisky and better whisky. |
