|
|
Hello Whisky lovers.
I am in the mood to buy something today and was thinking of adding the Aberlour 16 to the list. (The 12 does not seem to have great reviews) Is the 16 worth having or should I just keep looking for batch 50 of the A'bunadh?
I am thinking the A'bunadhs will all be very close to each other, thus the idea of the 16 for something similar but different.
Cheers! |

Both are great - but A'bunadh for me each and every time.
It's a brilliant dram, cask strength and very moreish.
In fact I'm going to check if I have a bottle lying around to open later |

Yeah A'Bunadh for me too. If you want something different though get the 16yo. I had one a few years back and found it a bit flat, may have been a less than great bottle though. _________________ "Too much of anything is bad, but too much good whisky is barely enough." |

| O heck the abunadh for me too... Don't get too hung up on batch 50, just get whatever batch you can, although they do differ they all have something good about them, there will always be a batch out that some love and some hate.. |

Cheers Gents. They are the same price so it looks like another A'bunadh then. Sorren I think the 50 is just a number in my head, half way to 100, a mile stone or something... I seriously don't need another bottle, just a want....
Today is payday and Monday is a holiday, can't get much better than that.
Y'all have a great weekend! |

Darwin its a shame you didn't get to try batch 14, many people say it was one of the best batches, batches 29 and 31 have had good feedback too, unfortunately I have no batch 14 left but plenty of 29,31 and 32.. O and a few 50s |

Sorren, I have read great things about the earlier batches, once again I am late to the party. Oh well, life moves on... I will do my best to keep up from now on. |

I have been to Dublin and London in my younger years. Scotland is still in my bucket list, a bit of fly fishing and a few distillery tours would be great fun. |
