Anybody know anything about macallan the archival series, if so do you know where I can get a bottle with out going to the distillery. Thanks

Arrrr yes I did not see the book but there is still a bottle inside, said it was a new release in the distllery yesterday I do believe. But the person was try to sell it so would tell me where I could get one

It may well be a new release, i certainly havent come across it before. Looks like a similar presentation to some of the masters of photography series, presented in a box which looks like a book with a cut out for a bottle.

The cut out in the book doesn't look right....I would be wary, as there is nothing about this release anywhere (at the moment). Why don't you just contact the distillery or visitors shop and ask them?

Just got this back off of macallan

Thank you for your enquiry below.

The new bottle was released on Monday at the Distillery and sold out within hours. However, they are getting more stock within the next week. The bottle will also be sold on line from next week. The cost of the pack is Â£195.00.

Interesting, I wonder what the details on the Macallan the Archival Series whisky are, doesnt look like there is any indication of age or bottle numbers on the bottle.

If you hear any more details about the Macallan the Archival Series, paticularly about the age and type of cask the whisky was matured in I would appreciate if you could post the details here.

Iv just phoned them Its limited to 2000 bottles, sherry cask and its a 12 year old. Should
be available before the end of the month from there website.

2 releases a year for 12 years.....

1900 bottles of Folio 1 still to be released.
