Here are my own taste notes from the event last night:
Nose: Earthy prune essence, spice and candied orange peel, nut and nougat, cherries jubilee, Richardson's orange marmalade and the cumulative aromas of a farmer's market with meat products hanging.
Palate: Chocolate n' spice, slightly drying, oak influence and late honey burst.
Finish: Lingering spice and espresso crema, mocha with building creaminess and late oak.
Rating: 90
***A perfect dessert dram.
