Nose - delicate sherry, oak, raisins, sultanas, burnt creme brûl?e caramel.

Palette - smooth as silk sherry, fruit cake so good without thinking it made me close my eyes and stop listening to concentrate on my sense of taste. More old oaky notes, sticky toffee pudding sauce, mocha with the smallest hint of dark chocolate.

Finish - George wrote 20 minutes in his notes I would say 35 minutes long, charred oak, fruit cake, subtle smoke, not Islay smoke maybe a gentle tabacco.

In sum exceptional, out of this world and a true privilege to experience!

I've also posted this in what your dramming right now. Cheers Rob

Rob, what a gem of a dram! The quality of the fruit cake on the taste and the tobacco smoke hue on the finish that you describe would elevate this to another level I'm sure.
A wonderful memory for you. I can still taste in my mind some of the great drams I have experienced over the years and it is a privilege.

I am very envious, if i had the money to drink in this price bracket this would be one of my choices.
