Tasted this one at my single malt scotch club on Feb 3rd.
My Taste Notes-
Nose: Perfume mingling with fruity ice wine; new shoots of celery heart proffer a sweet-edgy combo. There is some complexity here.
Taste: Spicy, fruit cocktail, stewed prunes, black olives, white pepper. Oaky tones merge with an earthy background.
Finish: Long, dark spicy fruit and black liquorice. Warming. A nice Winter dram.
Rating:84.5
***I didn't get a chance to add a few drops of water here but I have an inkling that H20 would enhance this dram which seems slightly bound up at cask strength. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

Oh, it's Kensington Wine Market in Calgary Alberta, well known in Canada. Common abbreviation here.

I believe they had a whisky agent who selected the cask in Scotland and brought it here. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."
