what prices do you pay around the world for whiskys. Some examples:
In Australia

AU$
Johnnie Walker Red $33.00
Black Douglas $29.00

Glenmorangie $75.00
Laphroiag 10 yr $85-90
Isle of Jura Superstition $95
Bruichladdich 12yr $76
Glenlivet 12 $60
Glenrothes select reserve $78

These prices do vary but this would certainly be on the very cheaper end, can be $10 -15 more.

Johnnie Walker Red:
Although one of the best selling whiskies in the world it is not a whisky you see much in the UK but you can get it for around £14.00 Diageo obviously makes more money on it in the overseas markets.

Black Douglas:
I am not familiar with this whisky at all.

Glenmorangie : £27
Laphroiag 10 yr: £28
Isle of Jura Superstition: £23
Bruichladdich 12yr £28
Glenlivet 12: £26
Glenrothes select reserve: £28

These prices are what we would expect to pay in a supermarket in the UK but they are often on offer for between £5 and £7 less. An example of a good offer which i picked up today from a supermarket was a bottle of Glenlivet 18 year old for £27.99 which was £8 off the normal price.

This is what i would expect to pay
(US$)
Johnnie Walker Red $30
Laphroaig 10 $43
Glenlivet 12 $49
Glenmorangie $49
Glenrothes Select Reserve $49
Isle of Jura Superstition $44

Just depends where you shop, you can pay a lot more than this in some shops.

I have never heard of the Black Douglas before either, is it exclusive to the Australian market.
