It is certainly the time of year for whisky awards but this is one which I am sure many of you will agree is well deserved, the BenRiach Distillery Company, owners of BenRiach, GlenDronach and Glenglassaugh single malt whiskies, has received the accolade of "Whisky Distiller of the Year" 2015 at the "Icons of Whisky Scotland 2015" Awards presented by Whisky Magazine.

Hi William. Yes, very well-deserved. I've had a few of these expressions at recent tastings and their visibility is increasing.

Yes i agree well deserved, I havent exploered Glenglassaugh yet but Benriach and Glendronach have some brilliat whiskies in their core ranges and they release some outstanding limited editions.

I am looking forward to seeing what they do with Glenglassaugh as the stock gets older, hopefully we will see some interesting releases like we have had from Benriach and Glendronach.
