Another era has come to an end at the Tamdhu distillery in Speyside as Sandy Coutts one of the whisky industry's longest serving distillery managers steps down after over 40 years service.
Sandy Coutt's retirement makes way for his replacement Sandy McIntyre as the new distillery manager.
I wonder if they have any plans to extend the Tamdhu range in the new year. I wasnt much impressed with the Tamdhu 10 year old but i think Tamdhu could be a better whisky with a good choice of wood.
